This is a cut down 4 minute “music video” version of The Secret Life of Cartoons, re-edited to a song by Foetus (which is actually a remix/cover of a Raymond Scott song called Powerhouse). The original version of this video was 19 minutes and featured live audio by Steev Hise. It was a collaborative project conceived and performed for a live multi-media event called Noise-a-Palooza II, held in Ann Arbor, Michigan on August 12, 1994 by the Ann Arbor Film Co-Op. Here again the video editing technique was the same Sukho used on The End Times video. However, this re-edit was done on an actual editing console as opposed to a VCR.

One interesting fact about this collaboration between Steev and Sukho was they did not see or hear what each other was doing until the night of the performance/showing. The only organization was a timing sheet where themes were agreed upon in advance.

This is an early ’90s music video made by Sukho for a shock rock band called The Spo-It’s. The technique was similar to Sukho’s The End Times video – using two VCRs to edit two separate collages and mixing them together in a studio. The difference here is the use of not just found footage but live band footage as well.

By the way, if you are easily offended by nudity, bondage, etc. you may want to avoid watching this.

Doris Wishman (1912 – 2002) was an unsung hero of Earthling independent women filmmakers – she also happened to make exploitation movies. Others can explain this underappreciated director and her place in film history better than us, so here is a nice article from Acid Logic, and another from Senses of Cinema. Her most famous films, Deadly Weapons, and Double Agent 73, star the enormous legendary breasts of Chesty Morgan, which made a cameo in the John Waters film, Serial Mom (the movie the kid is pleasuring himself to in his bedroom). Waters is a big fan, which may give you an idea of Wishman’s films. But in any case, whether or not you’re familiar with her work, you will definitely enjoy this rare interview with the late, great Doris Wishman! (please give this some time to start playing as it is relatively long)

This is one of our favorite adult oriented cartoons. Vince Collins did the animation with graphic design by Miwako on this 1982 acid trip adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. Be sure to check out Vince Collins’ website and keep an eye out for his High Definition work.

This copy was taken from an old VHS compilation called Adult Animation, out of print, however it is also on a DVD compilation called General Chaos: Uncensored Animation from 1998.

Lisa Crafts is an animator and artist who has a unique body of work in independent animation and is still active. Please visit her website for more information. This independent short from 1976 is an unashamedly open, sexual, and erotic expression that is sincere and beautiful. Perhaps it reflects a time in your world’s history when fornication was less dangerous or problematic and appreciated for what it is?

Nevertheless, we are obliged to warn you that this film does contain what some may deem “offensive” or “obscene” due to its sexual content. Frankly, we’ve always been confused with your standards – since much of your heralded artistic acheivements include depictions of humans in their natural state.

SORRY!! Per the request of the artist, we have removed this video. Hopefully we can put it back up in the future in some form, but for now it is gone.

Here is a music video we put together for Inter-Sexual Overdrive, a song that was only released on the Crippled Dick Hot Wax! label’s compilation, Les Chansons des Perverts, from 2001.
